Register SKAT
SKAT is shareware. That means that you can download a copy freely to see if you like it, and if you decide to use it you should register your copy.
In return for registering, your computer opponents will fully concentrate on the game and stop their interuptions.
You can register your copy via ShareIt or Kagi, who are companies that process shareware registrations on behalf of authors like myself.
If you use ShareIt and pay with Credit Card, your registration key is sent to you immediately. Otherwise the registration key is sent automantically upon receipt of the money.

- Ownership and Copyright of the program SKAT with all its documents is held exclusively by Dr. Peter Heinlein. No part of the software is to be modified, recompiled or changed in any other way.
- SKAT is distributed under German law. The license for SKAT is restricted to non-commercial use by the registered individual. Licences can not be shared or transferred to third party.
- In no event and under no legal theory, whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise, unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Author of SKAT be liable for damages, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising out of the use or inability to use SKAT (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all other commercial damages or losses).
- We try to provide best possible support in case of problems. Nevertheless, with a license you do not obtain any legal right for support of any kind (removal of bugs or updates). We develop new versions of SKAT on a regular basis. Typically, these are free-of-charge for registered users. Nevertheless, we reserve the right to charge an update-fee for upgrades.
- You can test the software for unlimited time before you register. The license key is created individually for each registered person. Thus you have no right of withdrawal without a reason.
